Dear Dr. Khosa,

From the website of the Dutch Society of Radiology I was informed that two clinical fellowships in emergency radiology have suddenly become available at the beginning of 2017.
I would be very much interested in applying, and I have already started filling in all the forms on your website (http://radiology.med.ubc.ca/education/fellowship-programs/application-requirements/).
I was wondering when this fellowship will start exactly. My residency in the Netherlands will end the first of March 2017. I have heard great stories from my current colleague, Maeke Scheerder, and a former colleague, Bernt Teunissen, is currently working at your hospital as a fellow in Emergency Radiology!
Hope to hear from you soon!

With kind regards,

Ewout Courrech Staal, M.D. Ph.D.
Resident in radiology
OLVG Hospital, Amsterdam
the Netherlands

Good afternoon, Dr. Khosa.

I am Ryan Jason DL. Urgel, MD. I am currently in my last few months as a trainee radiologist in the Philippine General Hospital. I am presently the Chief Resident of my department.

I heard from one of my friends/colleagues that you gave a lecture in the recent Joint Annual Convention of the CT-MRI and Ultrasound Societies of the Philippines. I was wondering if I can reach you through this.

I applied for several fellowships in the different universities in Canada, namely BC, Calgary, Ontario, and Toronto. I still haven’t heard from those positions if I was accepted or not. I did the usual application online. I was wondering if maybe I could have done something to make sure that I presented myself well and increased my changes of getting accepted.

My future plan to pursue my career in Canada. I plan to get into different fellowship trainings in Canada while studying and taking the certifying exam. In the meantime, before I officially end my training this December, I am studying for my certifying exam this January 2017.

Thank you very much, Dr. Khosa. I do hope to hear from you.
